There is ongoing research into the use of vitamin D as an adjunct therapy in cancer treatment. Some studies have shown that vitamin D can enhance the efficacy of certain chemotherapeutic agents and improve patient outcomes. However, it is not currently a standard part of cancer treatment protocols.
