Interestingly, some research has explored the potential use of zeolites in cancer therapy. Their porous structure allows them to adsorb toxic substances, and some studies suggest they might help in delivering drugs to cancer cells. Certain clinoptilolite zeolites have demonstrated the ability to modulate the immune system and induce apoptosis in cancer cells in vitro. However, these findings are preliminary, and more rigorous clinical trials are needed to establish their efficacy and safety for therapeutic use.
