While in vitro tests are invaluable, they do have certain limitations:
Lack of Complexity: In vitro models cannot replicate the complexity of a living organism, such as interactions with the immune system and tumor microenvironment. Predictive Value: Results obtained in vitro do not always predict how a drug will perform in vivo. Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics: In vitro tests cannot account for how a drug is metabolized and distributed within a living body.
