What are the New Developments in Folate Analogues?
Newer folate analogues and conjugates are being developed to improve efficacy and reduce toxicity. For example, pemetrexed, another folate analogue, inhibits multiple enzymes involved in folate metabolism and has shown effectiveness against non-small cell lung cancer and mesothelioma.
