Risk factors vary depending on the type of cancer. For ovarian and endometrial cancers, risk factors include family history, genetic mutations like BRCA mutations, hormone replacement therapy, and obesity. Cervical cancer is strongly linked to infection with the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Prostate cancer risk factors include age, family history, and race, with African American men being at higher risk. Testicular cancer risk factors include undescended testicle(s) and family history.
