Like any surgical procedure, MIS carries certain risks:
Bleeding: Though less common, there is still a risk of internal bleeding. Infection: Despite lower risk, infections can still occur. Anesthesia Complications: General anesthesia has its own set of risks. Conversion to Open Surgery: Occasionally, complications may necessitate conversion to open surgery.
