CNS tumors are broadly categorized into two types:
Primary CNS Tumors: These originate in the brain or spinal cord. Examples include gliomas, meningiomas, and medulloblastomas. Metastatic CNS Tumors: These arise when cancer from another part of the body spreads to the CNS. Common primary sites include the lungs, breasts, and melanomas.
