immunofluorescence

What are the Types of Immunofluorescence?

There are two main types of immunofluorescence: direct and indirect. In direct immunofluorescence, the primary antibody is directly conjugated to a fluorescent dye. In indirect immunofluorescence, a secondary antibody labeled with a fluorescent dye binds to the primary antibody. Indirect immunofluorescence is more commonly used due to its increased sensitivity and flexibility.
