Despite their potential, several challenges exist in lncRNA research. Understanding the diverse and complex functions of lncRNAs in cancer is still in its infancy. Additionally, developing specific and efficient methods to target lncRNAs therapeutically is challenging due to their structural diversity and the complexity of their interactions.
