Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) is a pathological condition where cancer cells are found within the lymphatic and/or blood vessels. It is a critical factor in the spread, or metastasis, of cancer to other parts of the body. LVI is often considered a marker of aggressive disease and can significantly affect the prognosis and treatment strategy for patients.
