Oncotype DX is a diagnostic test that analyzes the expression of a group of cancer-related genes in a tumor sample. It is most commonly used for breast cancer and colon cancer. The test generates a Recurrence Score, which predicts the likelihood of cancer recurrence and the potential benefit of chemotherapy.
