The match process for oncology is similar to other specialties but with a few key differences:
Application: Applicants submit their materials through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and participate in interviews with programs. Ranking: Both applicants and programs submit their preferences to the NRMP. Match Day: Results are released on Match Day, where applicants find out where they have been matched.
