What Types of Cancer are Associated with RECQL4 Mutations?
Individuals with mutations in RECQL4, particularly those with Rothmund-Thomson syndrome, have a higher predisposition to osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Additionally, there is evidence suggesting an increased risk for other malignancies, including skin cancer and hematologic malignancies.
