Fluid resuscitation is indicated in cancer patients under several circumstances:
Dehydration due to chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Severe diarrhea from treatment side effects or infections. Hypovolemia resulting from surgical procedures or blood loss. Sepsis or severe infections. Electrolyte imbalance that affects cardiac and neurological function.
