There are certain times when cancer patients should avoid sexual activity:
- After Certain Treatments: Immediately after treatments like chemotherapy or radiation, when the immune system is particularly weakened. - If Experiencing Symptoms: If experiencing symptoms like sores, lesions, or infections in the genital area. - During Active Infections: When either partner has an active STI or other infection.
