Are There Any Specific Liver Enzymes More Indicative of Cancer?
Although elevated levels of any liver enzymes can be indicative of cancer, certain patterns may be more suggestive. For instance, significantly elevated levels of ALP and GGT are often associated with cholestasis due to liver metastasis. Elevated ALT and AST are more indicative of hepatocellular damage.
