Are There Special Hygiene Considerations for Surgery Patients?
Patients undergoing surgery, especially cancer-related surgeries, have additional hygiene needs:
Pre-Surgery: Follow pre-surgical instructions, including special showers and antiseptic washes. Post-Surgery: Keep surgical wounds clean and dry, following the healthcare provider’s instructions for wound care. Monitor for Infection: Watch for signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or fever, and report them immediately.
