ccRCC accounts for approximately 70-80% of all kidney cancers. It is most commonly diagnosed in people aged 50-70 and is more prevalent in men than in women. The incidence of renal cell carcinoma has been increasing, partially due to improved imaging techniques that detect the disease at earlier stages.
