The Leukemia Cup Regatta started in 1993 when Gary Jobson, a world-renowned sailor and lymphoma survivor, partnered with the LLS to create an event that combined his passion for sailing with his desire to support cancer research. Over the years, the regatta has grown into a national series that attracts sailors and supporters from all walks of life.
