The way multiple authors are handled varies by citation style. For example, in APA style, if an article has up to 20 authors, all should be listed. For more than 20, list the first 19 authors followed by an ellipsis (...) and the last author's name. In Vancouver style, for articles with more than six authors, list the first six followed by "et al."
