What Are the Challenges of an Interdisciplinary Approach?
Despite its benefits, an interdisciplinary approach to cancer research and treatment presents several challenges. These include difficulties in communication and collaboration across different fields, varying research priorities, and the complex nature of integrating diverse types of data. Additionally, differences in funding structures and publication practices can pose barriers to effective interdisciplinary work.
