What are the Limitations of Using Beta hCG as a Cancer Marker?
While beta hCG is a useful marker, it is not definitive for all cancers. Elevated levels can also be seen in non-cancerous conditions such as pregnancy, certain types of liver disease, and even in some benign tumors.
