MEN1, also known as Wermer's syndrome, typically involves tumors in the parathyroid glands, pituitary gland, and pancreas. Patients may experience hyperparathyroidism, pituitary adenomas, and pancreatic endocrine tumors, among others. MEN2 is divided into MEN2A and MEN2B. MEN2A is characterized by medullary thyroid carcinoma, pheochromocytoma, and parathyroid hyperplasia. MEN2B includes medullary thyroid carcinoma, pheochromocytoma, and mucosal neuromas, with a distinct marfanoid habitus.
