What Challenges Exist in Targeting Redox Reactions?
One of the main challenges in targeting redox reactions is the dual role of ROS in cancer. While they can promote cancer cell death, they can also support cell proliferation and survival. Moreover, the redox state of cancer cells can vary significantly between different types of cancer and individual patients, making it difficult to develop a one-size-fits-all approach.
