Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA) is a hypersensitivity reaction to the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus. It predominantly affects individuals with asthma or cystic fibrosis, but it can also complicate the clinical course of patients with cancer, particularly those with compromised immune systems.
