Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) encompasses a group of disorders that cause chronic inflammation in the digestive tract. The two main types are Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. While Crohn's can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract, ulcerative colitis is limited to the colon and rectum.
