Real World Data (RWD) refers to data obtained from various sources outside of traditional clinical trials. This includes information gathered from electronic health records (EHRs), insurance claims, patient registries, wearable devices, and even social media. RWD is increasingly being used in oncology to better understand the effectiveness and safety of cancer treatments in diverse, real-world populations.
