The vomiting center is a complex area in the brain that coordinates the act of vomiting. This center is located in the medulla oblongata and receives input from various sources, including the gastrointestinal tract, the vestibular system, and the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ). The vomiting center then processes these signals and initiates the physiological response we recognize as vomiting.
