Several types of cancer are more prevalent in people with AIDS. These include:
1. Kaposi's Sarcoma: This cancer forms in the lining of blood and lymph vessels and is associated with Human Herpesvirus 8 (HHV-8). It is more aggressive in individuals with AIDS. 2. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: This includes various subtypes of lymphoma, most notably primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma. 3. Invasive Cervical Cancer: This cancer is strongly associated with Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which is more difficult to clear in immunocompromised individuals.
