Which Cancers Are Commonly Associated with Autoimmune Disorders?
Several types of cancer have been linked to autoimmune disorders. For instance, patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus are at increased risk for non-Hodgkin lymphoma and lung cancer. Similarly, those with Rheumatoid Arthritis have a higher incidence of lymphoma and lung cancer. Additionally, Inflammatory Bowel Disease is associated with a higher risk of colorectal cancer.
