Why is Selection Bias a Concern in Cancer Studies?
Selection bias can distort the relationship between exposure and outcome. For instance, if a study on the effectiveness of a new cancer drug primarily includes patients with early-stage cancer, its results may not be applicable to those with advanced-stage cancer.
