Are Chemokines Therapeutic Targets in Cancer Treatment?
Given their significant roles in cancer progression and metastasis, chemokines and their receptors serve as potential therapeutic targets. Inhibitors of the CXCR4 receptor, such as AMD3100, are being explored in clinical trials.
