digital radiography

Are There Any Limitations to Digital Radiography in Cancer Diagnosis?

While digital radiography offers numerous benefits, it does have some limitations. It may not be as effective in detecting very small or early-stage tumors compared to other advanced imaging modalities. Additionally, DR is less effective in imaging certain types of tissues, such as those in the brain or abdomen, where MRI or CT scans may provide better detail. Moreover, the interpretation of digital radiographs can be subjective and relies heavily on the expertise of the radiologist.
