Unlike more common bone metastases, which are secondary cancers that spread to the bone from other parts of the body, bone sarcomas are primary bone tumors. They can be highly aggressive and affect both children and adults. Some of the most well-known types of bone sarcomas include osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, and chondrosarcoma.
