Spine tumors are abnormal growths that develop within or around the spinal cord or spinal column. These tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). They can originate in the spine (primary tumors) or spread to the spine from other parts of the body (metastatic or secondary tumors).
