The management of irAEs depends on the severity of the symptoms. Mild irAEs may be managed with symptomatic treatment, such as antihistamines for rash or loperamide for diarrhea. For more severe irAEs, corticosteroids are often the first line of treatment to reduce inflammation and suppress the immune response. In cases where corticosteroids are ineffective, other immunosuppressive agents like infliximab or mycophenolate mofetil may be used.
