Which ABC Transporters are Most Implicated in Cancer?
The most studied ABC transporters in the context of cancer are ABCB1, ABCC1, and ABCG2. ABCB1 is known to efflux a wide variety of drugs, including anthracyclines, taxanes, and vinca alkaloids.
