Testicular self examinations are simple and can be done during or after a warm bath or shower when the scrotal skin is relaxed:
Stand in front of a mirror and look for any swelling on the scrotum. Examine each testicle with both hands. Place your index and middle fingers under the testicle and your thumbs on top. Gently roll the testicle between your thumbs and fingers. Feel for any lumps, changes in size, or irregularities.
It's normal for one testicle to be slightly larger or hang lower than the other, but any noticeable changes should be discussed with a healthcare professional.
