Follow these steps to practice Viparita Karani safely:
Sit close to a wall with one side of your body touching it. Lie down on your back and swing your legs up the wall. Adjust your position so that your buttocks are as close to the wall as comfortable. Relax your arms by your sides, palms facing up. Close your eyes and take deep breaths, holding the pose for 5-15 minutes. To come out of the pose, slowly slide your legs down the wall and roll to one side before sitting up.
