Like all chemotherapy drugs, temozolomide has a range of potential side effects. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and fatigue. More serious side effects can include myelosuppression, which is a decrease in bone marrow activity leading to reduced blood cell counts, increasing the risk of infection, anemia, and bleeding.
